     Prashanti Singh (born 5 May 1984, Varanasi, India) is a shooting guard for the Indian national women's basketball team. She represented the team at 2006 Commonwealth Games. She is part of Varanasi's "Basketball Family of India" where four out of five sisters has played or playing for Indian national team.
     Prashanti joined the Indian Women's Basketball Team in 2003 and became its captain. She played as captain in 3rd Asian Indoor Gameswere held in Vietnam on 30 October – 8 November 2009 won Silver medal and 16th Asian Games at Guangzhou China in November 2010.Prashanti singh won GOLD Medal in Asian beach games at Sri Lanka in 2011. Prashanti Singh is one of the top four A grade player of India selected and sponsored by basketball federation of India & IMG-Reliance.

     Sharmila Nicollet (born 12 March 1991) is an Indo French professional golfer from Bangalore, India.Nicollet turned professional in 2009 when she was 18 years old. She is the youngest Indian golfer to qualify for Ladies European Tour. She is the second Indian to earn a full card on the Ladies European Tour.
     Nicollet won the 2009-2010 Order of Merit on the Women's Golf Association of India and then five further events to finish on top of the 2010- 2011 Order of Merit. She finished the top Indian golfer at T22, at the 2011 Hero Honda Women's Indian Open, with the lowest score of the day in the final round. She has a total of 11 wins on the Women's Golf Association of India.
     She finally qualified with a full tour card for the Ladies European Tour in 2012, being the youngest Indian golfer to qualify. Nicollet was the champion of the Hero-KGA tournament in 2012

     The original Indian Sports beauty, Sania Mirza (born 15 November 1986, in Bombay) is a professional Indian tennis player, well known for her powerful forehand ground strokes. She holds the record for being the highest ranked player from India for over a decade.
     Mirza is also the highest ranked female tennis player ever from India, with a career high ranking of 27 in singles and 7 in doubles. She is the first Indian female player to surpass US$1m in career earnings; first Indian to win a WTA Tour title of any kind; and, by winning the 2009 Australian Open – Mixed Doubles Event, became the third Indian, male or female, to win a Grand Slam title (the first two being Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes). Mirza has also won the 2012 French Open – Mixed Doubles Event (her second Grand Slam title).
     Mirza was named one of the '50 heroes of Asia' by Time in October 2005. In March 2010, The Economic Times named Mirza in the list of the "33 women who made India proud".

     Shikha Uberoi (born 5 April 1983, in Bombay) is an Indian-American professional tennis player. Her highest ranking is 122nd in the world in singles, which she achieved on August 29, 2005.She turned pro in August 2003. Though she has not won any WTA Tour event till date, Uberoi has three ITF Women's Circuit singles titles to her name- one in Harrisonburg in 2003 and two in Fort Worth and Edmond in 2004.
     At the 2004 US Open, Uberoi became the second ever Indian female player in the modern era to feature and win a round at a main draw Grand Slam Tournament, defeating Japan's Saori Obata. (The first was Nirupama Vaidyanathan at the 1998 Australian Open.)

This feisty diva demanded for Open Trials for selection of the National Squad after being dropped from the team. This sizzling diva is one of our favourites!

     Saina Nehwal (born 17 March 1990 in Dhindar, HisarHaryana) is an Indian badminton player who attained a career best ranking of 2 in December 2010 by Badminton World Federation. She is the first Indian to win a medal in Badminton at the Olympics. She achieved this feat by winning the Bronze medal at the London Olympics 2012 on 4 August 2012. She is the first Indian to win the World Junior Badminton Championshipsand was also the first Indian to win a Super Series tournament, by clinching the Indonesia Open with a victory over higher-ranked Chinese Wang Lin in Jakarta on 21 June 2009. Saina is supported by the Olympic Gold Quest.

     Shikha Tandon (born 1985) is a champion swimmer from Bangalore, India. Tandon has won 146 national medals, and 36 medals in international competitions, including five gold medals. 
     At the 57th Senior National Aquatic Championship in 2003, Tanden broke the Indian women's 50 freestyle record, with a time of 26.61 s. She won five individual gold medals in the competition, and was declared best swimmer for the third consecutive year.
     At the 2004 Athens Olympics, Tandon competed in both the 50 m and the 100 m freestyle, the first Indian swimmer to qualify for two separate events in an Olympic competition. In 2005, Shikha held seven national records, and was the first Indian woman to hold so many simultaneously. In 2005, she was honoured with an Arjuna Award.

     Tania Sachdev (born 20 August 1986 in Delhi) is an Indian chess player, who holds the titles of International Master and Woman GrandmasterA Viswanathan Anand fan, Sachdev became the eighth Indian Woman Grandmaster. She won her first international title when she was just eight. In 2008 she topped the Asian Chess Championship with 6½ points out of nine rounds.
     She was awarded the Arjuna Award in 2009.
     Sachdev was second runner-up in 38th National Women's Premier Chess Championship at Chennai. She won Bronze Medal on Board 3 with a score of 9.0/11 in the Istanbul Chess Olympiad 2012, Turkey.

     Jwala Gutta is a left-handed Indian badminton player of mixed Indian and Chinese descent who has won the National Badminton Championships thirteen times until 2010. She is a doubles badminton player who has partnered with Shruti Kurien and later Ashwini Ponnappa.
     She played women's doubles as well as mixed doubles ath the 2012 London Olympics. Jwala pairing with Ashwini Ponappa lost there their opening women's double match against the Japanese duo of Mizuki Fujii and Reika Kakiiwa on 28 July 2012.
     During her Badminton career, Jwala Gutta began dating fellow badminton player Chetan Anand, who was the 1999 Junior National Badminton Champion and 2003, 2007, 2008, and 2010 Senior National Badminton Champion and has been honored with an Arjuna Award. The couple married on 17 July 2005 and got divorced on 29 June 2011.

     Dipika Pallikal is an Indian squash player. She is the first Indian woman to break into the top 10 in the WSA rankings. She won 3 WISPA tour titles in 2011 that saw her attain a career best ranking of 13. Later, she bettered that with a top 10 ranking in December 2012. She was runner up in theTournament of Champions 2012 and reached the semifinals of Australian Open 2012.She won her sixth WSA title by winning the Meadowood Pharmacy Open on February 2013.
     In December 2012, she broke into the top 10 by achieving a career best of ranking of 10. She has been conferred with the Arjuna Award, India's second highest sporting award in the year 2012.
